Street Scene Visual Representation and Prop List

Researching into how streets looked in the 1970's and taking inspiration from modern housing streets, I like the idea of having a long street with identical houses on both sides. I have though about how I could easily identify the main characters home with the others on the street, talking to the group I like the idea of altering the colour of the house compared with the others. Speaking to the director she liked the idea of having a red tones house as this is her fathers favourite colour. I need to make sure that the cubist style is apparent the scene, I will base my designs on the square and triangle shape language to match with houses from the 1970's.

Thinking about the props and structural features for this scene, I need to look at the fences and wall to separate each of the houses and I need to look at the front door. I can also use the front door in the corridor coming off of the living room. I will develop these props and structural feature for this scene separate from the house designs.
