Looking at the quick initial floor plans above, It was discussed as a group that the Limbo waiting room will need to have circular elements to represent the 9 circles of hell. As a group designs 3 and 4 were chosen, however we felt that the circular design was too warped to resemble a circle, The sharper lines of the third design would allow the doors to be placed in a flat surface without curving them.
I then developed the chosen design by placing the props such as wall lights, desk, chair and welcome mat in the chosen room to see what compositions worked best. Seeing as the character needed to exit through the 8th door I needed to figure out which doors had the best path to walk to without wasting to much time. We chose design 1 as it made sense as the door placements went in order from 1-9 (1 being the lift doors). Also the desk was closer to the back of the room, to add more of an impact with John entered the room.
