While I have done research into 1970s style homes, I have
created a prop list so when I start modelling in production I know exactly what
is needed and also it will help me work out the environment composition when
making floor plans and turnarounds.
List of props include:-
- Television,
this will be the main focal point so I want to make sure that I have a model
identical to those used in the 60/70s.
- Lighting
will include smaller table lamps and maybe a tall corner lamp; also I could
have some decorative wall lights.
- Staircase,
to give a feeling of space. Seeing as if I designs doors in the scene I will
have them closed so the audience and focus on the immediate area.
- Coffee
table, small I could have some details like a magazine or glasses to add further
detail to the scene.
- I
like the idea of having a large window; I like the idea of this scene being at
night I could light the room and have the curtains closed its compact. I will
develop concept designs both during the day and in the evening just in case it
works better.
- For
the seating I like the bigger sofas, they look family friendly. I will develop
designs for a two seated sofa and an arm chair.
- Finally
I will have a small shelving unit with a selection of books and ornaments.
